New interactive website helps families touched by Syndactyly
Mascoutah Illinois – December 12, 2015 – The National Foundation for Syndactyly (NFS) launched a new updated responsive website to help families touched by Syndactyly. A few of the sites new features are the families’ ability to download common questions about Syndactyly and the ability to link to the latest information about research, support and education.
Syndactyly is the most common congenital anomaly of the hand marked by persistence of webbing between digits (webbed fingers or toes), so that they are more or less completely attached. It touches 1 out of every 2500 babies born. President and Founder Woody Gray said, “While the foundation is largely about funding research, every week the foundation and its staff respond to inquiries for information and support.” Through the new web site links, families’ will be able to connect to other families and know they are not alone.
